For a renowned manufacturer of the Bicycle industry we are looking for an experienced Production Manager profile for its production site, nearly Milano Est.
- Develop and implement production programs, optimizing necessary resources. - Establish and apply quality control standards, ensuring that bicycles meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. - Coordinate suppliers for timely delivery of components/materials, maintaining cost- effectiveness. - Lead and motivate production teams, promoting collaboration, responsibility, and continuous improvement. - Identify improvement opportunities, increasing efficiency, reducing waste, streamlining operations. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. - Effectively manage production budgets. - Generate reports on production performance. - Analyze data and provide insights for decision-making.
- Degree in Engineering, Production Management, or related field. - Required English Level: B2/C1. - Experience in production management, preferably in the cycling industry or similar production environments. - Strong leadership and team-building skills. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. - Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. - Entrepreneurial mindset for a growing environment. - Attention to detail with a strategic vision.
Preferred qualifications include: - Experience in steel tube production processes (forming, welding, finishing). - Understanding of metallurgical properties and materials. - Familiarity with quality control measures (dimensional accuracy, surface finish, weld integrity). - Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices. - Understanding of industry regulations (ASTM, ISO, OSHA). - Knowledge of bicycle and frame assembly processes. - Ability to manage components and parts for assembly. - Skill in creating/managing structures for internal and external assembly.
