Tailor&Fox, an italian Executive Search firm based in Milan, is working with a Multinational, leader in the Production and Marketing of Elevator & Lifting Systems, present throughout the national territory, who has entrusted us to search for the following important and strategic professional profile:
TECHNICAL & SERVICE MANAGER
Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Company technical processes, including troubleshooting any potential issues, will ensure that all installations, maintenance and removals are carried out according to company’s guidelines. Management of the Technical & Warehouse departments.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Technical Area of the Italian Company in accordance with guidelines and adopted by the General Manager and the Board;
- Work effectively as appropriate with other Technical Managers across Europe and parent company technical management;
- Leadership and strategic direction to the technical operations to achieve performance objectives, through effective coaching;
- Permanently analysing and improving business processes and monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the technical organization;
- Lead and monitor direct Installer’s team in north-west Italy and manage Subcontractors & Partners in other areas for installation and Technical Assistance Services;
- Supervise warehouse and related logistic activities for Company’s products.
- Coordinate Technical department;
- Expanding solid customer relationships through excellent customer service.
Main requirements:
- Good standard of secondary education or Technical Degree;
- At least 8 / 10 years of previous experience in managing technical teams in similar positions;
- Relevant professional qualification in order to work with electricity and machinery;
- Good level of English written and spoken is mandatory;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels;
- Calm & effective under pressure.
Place of work: Milan, with frequent travel throughout the country.
